Created by Rebeca Huffman, Annatto Seeds infused with Garlic and Peppercorns was born as a way to infuse flavor into our beloved “Aceite de Achiote”. Aceite de Achiote is made by infusing cooking oil and fat with the color of Achiote AKA Annatto seeds. This “aceite” is predominantly used during the holidays to make “pasteles” and “alcapurrias”, however it can be used to give color to rice, beans, roasted veggies and more. Now you can add extra flavor to your achiote oil using Rebeca’s new blend.
